Visiting Benjamin

My most recent memory of Grandma was during the summer of 2007. My son Benjamin was born June 30th 2007 and we were receiving a lot guest that summer. At the time my wife Sebila and I lived in a apartment complex in Reston, VA. We were on the top floor of our building with no elevator. It was difficult for myself going up and down the stairs at 28 years old so when I heard that Grandma was coming down from Dover I was immediately asking myself how should I get her up to our apartment. Initially I was thinking we could just meet somewhere else, then I was determined that I would just carry her up the 4 flights of stairs. When Grandma arrived with Aunt Peggy I went down to greet her and asked her if it was okay if I carried her up the stairs. She replied with a "no." She told me that she can walk up the stairs to see Benjamin. I write walk but it is more like a climb. She made it up the 4 flights and visited with her Great Grandson. I still have the picture of her holding onto Benjamin smiling.
