Our Beginnings

Upon graduation from the Eckel's College of Mortuary Science in 1963, Michael J. Ambruso has served in funeral service in the Dover area opening his own facilities in 1969.

Since that time it has been the purpose of this firm to render thoughtful service, and if in so doing it has helped lighten the burden of those served, then its aim has been accomplished.

Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. has been offering Excellence in Service regardless of price in Dover, Delaware since its inception.

We believe in the recognition and meaningful celebration of a life that has been lived and view our responsibility towards those we serve as a Sacred Trust.
