Robert Jones age 67 of Cheswold, DE died January 27, 2012 at Bay Health Medical in Dover. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Robert L. and Margaret Gilmour Jones.
Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Merchant Marine and had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He had spent most of his adult life as a Boiler Engineer and had worked at the Twin Towers in New York and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Brooklyn, NY prior to moving to Delaware.
He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed the time spent with his family.
Mr. Jones leaves his wife Susna J. Fetto Jones of Cheswold, DE. Two Children, Christopher Spango of Staten Island, NY and Kimberly Jones of Somerset, NJ. One grandchild, Kristyn Archibald of Staten Island, NY and his sister, June Langcake of Moorsville, NC.
