Condolence From: Larry Faulkner
Condolence: Dr. Maximo was my hero. He saved my life when I was 30 years old. I'm now 66 and still here. Dr. Maximo will sit with Jesus in heaven. This was a great man who did much good in the world. I'm very sad to see this news. It is July 2021 and I am just now seeing his obituary. What a wonderful man he was. My thoughts and prayers are for his family, friends and co-workers

Condolence: My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of taking care of Dr. Maximo aka Tito. He was always determined to do his very best aiming at perfection.I was struck by his humility despite his many accomplishments --- His biggest accomplishment that he treasured was his family. I will always remember his love and devotion to his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. He's left quite a legacy and will always be fondly remembered.

Condolence From: Pamela Wiemers,
Condolence: Dear Carol and family,
Words cannot adequately express the sadness I feel over losing Max. I worked for many years in the OR at Bayhealth with him, and still consider it a privilege to have known him, worked with him, and learned from him. We struggled many times during difficult cases, but quitting didn't seem to be possible for him. Another surgeon once told me that if he was ever in a battle, he wanted Max to be on his side because Max never gives up. His struggles are now over. We will miss him forever but wish for you all that your grief will be eased with the wonderful memories of him.

Condolence: Carole, Patty, Vince, Vicky, and Angie you were so blessed to have a man as wonderful as Max in your life for so long. And I KNOW, you know that. Carole, it meant the world to me that you came to my father's memorial several years ago. Max was an amazing man. Growing up with you all, I saw the impact Max had not only on the community, but on my family. He saved my Grandfather's life and was a wonderful friend to my father. For me personally, you two had the greatest kids that I LOVED growing up with. My thoughts and love are with you all.
