My life was blessed to have crossed paths with such a sweet, kind, gentle, loving soul as Maria. Sadly, nothing is ours forever, and none of us knows when the Lord will call us home. I do believe Maria was an angel in our midst and now she has her wings. My deepest condolences to her loved ones.

First of all, I would like to express my condolences to the Kerley family and to the Rodriquez family. The Lord blessed me to have had such a wonderful and honorable opportunity to meet Maria at the apartment complex where she resided. It seemed like from day one when I first met her, we had this instant, kindred connection in the spirt and in the flesh. We had some amazing times together of talking about the goodness of Jesus and reminiscing over the past victories of how the Lord delivered us out of so many trials and tribulations. We shared some tears as well over things that happened in our past and we managed to survive them by the grace of God! Maria was such a kind, funny and loving person to be around. She had such a love for God, her dog Puffy, her family, friends and Ron (her ex-husband). She was like a breath of fresh air to all those that she came in contact with. I've seen her endure many challenges with her health, but she was truly a fighter and believed God until the very end! Psalm 116:15 says " Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints". I know when Maria transitioned from this earth to her new heavenly home with Jesus... I can imagine that she was praising the Lord and rejoicing when she saw her Lord and Master JESUS! I will truly miss her to no end, but she suffered a long time with her illnesses and still managed to keep a praise on her lips and a smile on her face, To the family, please know that God is able to wipe every tear from your eyes and He is just a prayer away. He knew things about Maria that we certainly did not know. Cherish the precious memories and the amazing times that you shared with this awesome woman of God! If we accept Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Savior like Maria did, then one day you will see her and be reunited again with her. God bless you and know that she will be missed dearly by all that came in contact with her. May the Lord God bless you and keep you, in Jesus's name.
Lovingly Submitted,
Apostle Estella V. Priest (Refreshing Springs Ministries, Inc.)
