Judith A. Moffett, 71, of Dover, DE, died April 19, 2017. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Olga (Schneider) Thomas. Mrs. Moffett was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had served at Silver Lake Nursing Home for over 20 years until her retirement in 2010. She had been a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with her family and especially treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and cooking for family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bruce N. Moffett, who died in 2012. Mrs. Moffett leaves her loving children, Bruce J. and Corrie Moffett of Hartly, DE; Jason and Stephanie Moffett of Dover, DE and Thomas J. Moffett and Roger of Dover, DE. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew; Rebekah; Brandon and Kristin. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Natalie Bullen and Rhylie Husfelt along with her sister, Karen Bruce and brother, Thomas J. Thomas, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Sharon Hill Memorial Cemetery, Dover. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research
