Carol Ann Sawn,67, of Dover, DE. died Friday, March 27, 2014 at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover, DE. She was born in Glens Falls, NY, daughter of the late Richard F. and Helen L. Corlew Tremblay.
Mrs. Sawn had served as Site Coordinator for P.S.I. (Psycho Therapeutic Services) until her retirement. Besides being dedicated to her work, Mrs. Sawn was a loving wife and grandmother who enjoyed the company of her family and circle of friends. In her younger days she was especially fond of travel.
She leaves her husband, Leon F. Sawn of Dover, DE, her two sons, Richard and wife Patricia Fortune of Denton, MD, David and wife Kelly Fortune of Annapolis, MD and step-sons Brian and Patrick Sawn both of Hartford, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Sawyer of Fort Ann, NY and her brother, Louis Tremblay of Hooksett, NH. Her grandchildren, Alyssa and Drew Fortune both of Annapolis, MD and step-grandson, Zack Higgs of Denton, MD.
There will be no formal services and the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Delaware Hospice Inc., 16 Pollydrummond Center, Newark, DE 19711 or to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way #205, New Castle, DE 19711.
