Obituary for Efren Bonifacio San Antonio

Efren Bonifacio San Antonio was born to the late John Labro San Antonio
and Elisa Bonifacio San Antonio, a farmer and carpenter and homemaker,
in Lake Buhi Camarines Sur, Philippines. He graduated high school from
St. Joseph Academy in 1975. He went on to receive a gold medal award
for master cutters in tailoring from Philippine Fashion School in 1976. He
worked as a tailor for six years and motorcycle transportation driver for
four years in Manila, Philippines. He migrated to New York City, United
States in 1980 then moved to Maryland where he retired as a medical
distribution clerk.

Efren was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best
friend, Jocelyn Acierto Aggasid on May 23, 1985 in New York City, NY.
Efren helped raise his two children, Joefrenne and Genevieve with love,
discipline and humility. He spent time with them playing in the backyard,
taking them to parks, giving fatherly advice and support and often took the
family on weekend trips to NY to visit family. He was a wonderful husband,
father, grandfather, and brother.

Efren was a social butterfly. He often talked to everyone about electronics
and fishing. His hobbies were tending to his vegetable garden that he
shared with his wife, frequently fishing in the piers, he used to go hunting,
he played the guitar and he loved to sing. He was a great handyman,
advisor and loved to help his family in any way he could. He will dearly be
