Steven B. Bradley, 73 of Dover, DE
Steven Bruce Bradley, affectionately known as “Big Steve”, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the home of his daughter, in Fayetteville, NC. He was 73. To the rest of the world, he may have been just a man, but to his family, he was the world – the best father any child could have known.
Steve was born July 28, 1949 in Milford, DE to Charles and Lottie Andrew Bradley. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1967. Steve began working at General Foods in Dover shortly after graduation, holding various other positions before ultimately retiring from Edgewell Personal Care Brands in Dover, as Quality Control in 2014.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Irene E. Schornick. He is survived by his children, Susan M. Bradley and her children, Tristen and Nadirah of Camden, Sherri E. Bradley and her fiancé Omar and their children Chase, Chance, Omar and Oshun of Fayetteville, NC, Shawn E. Bradley and his fiancé Jennah and their children, Kenneth, Isabelle, Jace and Steven of Dover, DE. Steve was also survived by a niece, Dannette Jefferson and her family of Seaford, DE, two stepsons – Billy and James Seaman and their families of Camden, DE and a special friend, who was like a son – Keith “Blaque” Groover of Dover, DE.
A viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Home, 1175 S. State Street, Dover, DE from 6 – 8 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Steve’s memory to the charitable organization of your choice.
