Obituary for Gregory J. Bliler

Gregory J. Bliler, (65) of Camden passed peacefully on Saturday December 3rd 2022. He was born in Bativa, New York to Richard and Elizabeth Bliler.

Greg was a member of the Caesar Rodney High School graduating class of 1977. He showed great pride in being an Eagle Scout. Greg then went on to work in the construction industry for over 30 years. In his spare time, he was an avid woodworker. He also thoroughly enjoyed cheering his beloved Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers to victory. In his earlier years, Greg and his wife enjoyed traveling to NASCAR races to cheer on his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. Greg was always ready for adventure on his Softail Harley or in his beloved truck. In recent years, it brought great joy for Greg to play the role of Santa for many children in our community.

He was a dedicated husband, father, and pop-pop. He especially loved his seven grandchildren and was an honorary pop-pop to many others. Greg will be remembered by his friends and family for always being his authentic self and never missing an opportunity for a joke.

In addition to his parents He was welcomed into heaven by his wife of 19 years, Lynn Bliler, his daughter Ginger Lynn Bliler, and his sister Brenda Williams.

He is survived by his daughters Heather Tatum (Travis) of Harrington, Beth Altemus (Steven) of Camden-Wyoming, Holly Strickland (Justin) of Camden-Wyoming, Brother Jeff Bliler of Frederica, Sister Cathy McMullen (Rob) of Avondale, PA and his seven grandchildren: Leelend & Mason Tatum, Abigail & Madison Altemus, and Emmy, Camille & William Strickland.
