Harold V. Snaith – Bowers Beach
Howard “Hal” Snaith , age 79, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his residence in Bowers Beach, DE.
Hal was born in Pottstown, PA on July 17, 1943, son the late Vernon and Helena (Mauger) Snaith.
He resided in Spring City, PA until 2009.
Hal was proudly served his country in the U.S.A.F from 1961 to 1965 and upon discharge he lived
In Spring City, PA. He met Mary in 1963 and they married in 1965.
He worked in construction and specialized in the structural detail of buildings. Upon retirement he made his longtime weekend home in Bowers Beach his fulltime residence.
Hal enjoyed carpentry, fishing, spending time with family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Stoudt of Pottstown, PA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Mary Snaith.
2 sons Anthony Snaith (Lisa) of Royersford, PA and Scott Snaith (Kandis) of Apalachin, NY
1 grand-daughter Alexandra Butler (Chris) of Chillicothe, OH and 1 grandson Andrew Snaith of Royersford, PA and two great-grandsons Mason and Wyatt Marion of Chillicothe, OH.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at The Church of The Holy Cross, Dover,DE and Interment took place in Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE.
Hal’s family is requesting donations in his memory to American Cancer Society. Life End Services by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover.
