Obituary for Patricia A. Kemp
Milford - Patricia A. Kemp of Milford passed away November 10th, 2022 in Bayhealth Hospital Sussex Campus. Mrs. Kemp was born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of John Thompson Sr. and Doris (Pierson) Thompson.
She was a dedicated wife of 29 years to her high school sweetheart, mother and Nana, and one who loved those special times with her ten grandchildren.
Her three adult children made her proud to be their mother, with all of their accomplishments. Her grandchildren also made her proud to be their “Nana.” Their academic, choral, and theatrical performances were most outstanding.
She was preceded in death by her parents (1989 & 2021), her husband (2003) Frank D. Kemp Jr., her daughter (2014) Marie LaValley Kemp, her grandparents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 nephews.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer of Dover, a son and daughter-in-law Frank D. Kemp III and Jessi Kemp, and brother Louis Thompson of Dover: 10 grandchildren, Adriana, Kyle, Victoria, Cameron, Dolly, Matthew, Trinity, Kendall, John, and Serenity and 1 nephew, 4 nieces.
Service was private. Entombment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA at BVSPCA.org.
