Donald G. Poliquin, age 77, passed away suddenly October 5, 2022 at his residence.
Donald was French Canadian raised in Somersworth, NH where the French language was part of his everyday life.
Donald served in the Army Special Forces including three (3) tours in Vietnam and then in Korea where he met his beloved wife, Lee. After serving in the military, Donald served as a Corrections Officer for the New Jersey Department of Corrections. He and his wife lived in New Jersey for thirty-five (35) years where they raised their two (2) sons Chris and Ronald.
Donald was a member of Holy Cross Church where he attended Bible study. He was an avid coin collector, and his favorite television channel was Fox News. He also enjoyed the History Channel, Discovery Channel, and cooking shows.
He survived by his loving and dedicated wife Lee C. Poliquin, 2 sons: Chris Poliquin and Ron Poliquin (Maria Tedeman-Poliquin).
Four Grandchildren: Ronin Poliquin (15), Lilly Poliquin (12), Luna Poliquin (9), and Rocco Poliquin (8)

A Mass of Christian of Burial will be offered 10:00 Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 522 Main St., Marydel, MD 21649. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
