The happiest memories that I have of my dear Brother-in-law Mario were when his brother Ernest and I went to visit him and my sister at their home in Westminster. As soon as we got there we could hear the Oldies but Goodies, music which put us in a happy mood and we enjoyed hearing and dancing to. Our Mother lived with them and she thrived under my Sister Gloria's and Mario's care. Mario was a compassionate, caring, and thoughtful son-in-law. My Mother loved him like her own son and he loved her as well. He always made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable in their home. Mario was a hard worker and very proud of whatever he accomplished in his life. My family loved him very much and we will miss him dearly and we'll never forget him. Rest in Peace my dear Brother-in-law. Alice Morales

My happiest memories of my dear Brother-in-law Mario were when Ernest and I went to their home, to family gatherings together, and to Las Vegas. They also held a wedding reception for Ernest and me at their house with family and friends. Mario was such a loving, caring, and thoughtful man, always going out of his way to please everyone. My sister and Mario were blessed in their marriage , sharing all those wonderful years together with their two sons Mario Jr. and Jeff. We were blessed and still are for having them in our lives and family. Mario will never be forgotten and will be missed dearly. Ernest and I loved him very much. Rest in peace my dear Brother-in-law. Papa, You and I always got up early, usually around 3 am, we always do our best thinking in the wee small hours of the morning.
I miss that about us. I sit across the dinner table with a heavy heavy heart that aches to have you here with us. Losing a Dad is very hard, I remember what Mamma went through when she lost Grandpa, though I was just 3 years old, I remember I was knocking on her bedroom door while she wept hard and I was asking her if she was alright, and could I help her, I have always been thoughtful and sentimental to ask things and help like that back in 1970 and to this very day I continue to. That's always been my role as your oldest son to be there and help my family proudly. I do, Thank you Dad & Mom for teaching me that.
Now, I go to ask you a question and you are not there , it's hard. You are always in my thoughts and prayers and I feel your presence around us still, and you are carried everywhere in our hearts Papa. You taught me to be a fighter. I know how much we loved our LA Rams, Our Horse Racing, Our bets at the tracks, Our Music, Our cooking, Our pool shooting games and especially our deep talks and awareness of and respect towards others, manners and life lessons and how respecting and helping others is a top priority always.. though we are gonna make mistakes because we are not perfect, but still keep trying to be our best. We continue to pray and be there for eachother because that is what our family does, you are always with me Papa, Love Lil Mario Jr, your Pops, Your little Tinkie as You and Mom used to always call me. Utmost sincerity and respect.

I grieve for my old Army buddy Mario. After many years we were able to reunite, reminisce our past and meet each other’s family members. I will miss talking to you and planning our future visits together. You will always be my friend. My deepest sympathy to Gloria, Mario Jr and family.

Happy Heavenly Father’s Day Uncle Mario ❤️ You were a loving husband who truly loved Aunt Gloria and a loving father to Mario Jr. and Jeff and loving with your family. You were a father figure to me. You were a hard worker, you cared deeply and gave your best for your family and others in your life. I have precious memories that will stay in my heart forever. You and Aunt Gloria opened up your house to me and my daughters and I will never forget that..You nicknamed my daughters Weesa and Teenie Peenie. To this day I call my daughters by their nicknames. I will miss you teasing me about my potato salad saying you would use it for plaster at your jobs. You sure enjoyed eating it! You would also tell me I cooked enough food for an army. I know I did and we sure had plenty of leftovers. We had good times! I loved cooking for you, Aunt Gloria, Mario and Jeff. I loved your Caldo de Queso and was going to have you make me some when I came down for a visit. Wanted to listen to Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye and Creedence Clearwater, Earth Wind and Fire and other music like in the old times. I love you, Aunt Gloria, Mario and Jeff so much. You all are a blessing in my life. Thank you for showing me good job skills in construction. Loved working with you and the guys. I will treasure these memories forever. You and Aunt Gloria truly had a love story marriage ❤️ Rest In Peace my dear Uncle. I love you Uncle Mario and will miss you so much.
It is so hard to say goodbye. But I know someday we will all be together again.
