Fujiko Robinson (Susie)

NEWARK-Fujiko (Susie) Robinson, formerly of Dover, DE went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family and pets on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Fujiko was born on January 5, 1933 in Nagasaki, Japan, daughter of the late Sakujiro Matsuo and Yose Deguchi. She was a survivor of the 1945 atomic bomb dropping in Nagasaki. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother!! She enjoyed her family, gardening, bingo, playing the piano and attending church services. She was employed as a seamstress for many years and later in food services at Wesley College in Dover. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Carl Robinson, 1996. She is survived by a son, Michael Robinson and two daughters Denise R. Fitzpatrick, her husband Brian and daughter Christina M. Robinson; four grandchildren, Latasha Chase, Gregory Chase, Justin Fitzpatrick and Jacob Fitzpatrick; four great grandchildren and a host of loving pets. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Love of Christ Church, 2157 Bear Corbitt Road, Bear, DE 19701. Interment will be private at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to either Love of Christ Church, 2157 Bear Corbitt Road, Bear, DE 19701or BAYADA Hospice of Delaware, 4250 Lancaster Pike, Suite 308, Wilmington, DE 19805.
