Obituary for Mary Esther Nored
Mary Esther Nored, 86, of Magnolia passed away on December 8, 2020 at home with her family. Mary Esther was raised in Clayton Delaware and graduated from Smyrna High School. Mary Esther was a homemaker, wife and mother to five children. She loved gardening, her family and furry friends. She was known to have a green thumb and a quick wit.
Mary Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert J. Nored. He passed away in 2013.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Latoria and Kim of Delaware Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mary Esther.
Mary Esther is survived by her five children: Robert Nored Jr.; Angela Valeski (Scott); Joseph Nored (Christine); Terri Wright (William); and John Nored. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jessica Ciccarelli (Aaron); Emily Smith; Jonathon Wright; Sara Valeski; Victoria Waterfield and her great grandchildren: Mattox; Grayson; and Harper. In addition, she is survived by brothers Joe (Angie), Bill (Pat), Dave (Debbie) and sisters Terry and Fay (Sut). She is also survived by her in-laws in Oklahoma: Yvonne, Marjorie (Kenneth); Jerry (Phyllis); Hal; Linda (Dale); and Judy (Dick). Last, but not least, she is survived by her loving cat, Pinky.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
