Obituary for Dorothy Lillian Lamos (Rightmyer)
Dorothy (Dottie) L. (Rightmyer) Lamos passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 30 Sept 2020 from natural causes while living in Dover Place, Dover, DE. Dottie was born on June 13, 1927 in Paterson, NJ to John (Jack) Rightmyer and Catherine (Mitchell) Rightmyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Henrietta Dyer, and husband Walter M Lamos.
Dottie lived in Clifton, NJ where she was involved as President for Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Clifton Chapter; Boys and Girls club, and member of Eastern Star of NJ. She enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping. She moved to Dover, DE to be near her son and daughter-in-law in 2007.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Alan W. Lamos (Donna) of Dover, DE and daughter Cathy D. Wood (friend Henry) of Kirkville, NY. Also, by her grandchildren; Amee Lamos-Henry (Keyno) of Centerville, GA, Michele Wood of Rockville, MD and Shaun Wood (Ana) of Cicero, NY. Along with 2 great grandsons, Jaiden and Kyran Henry.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Dover Place for keeping her safe and comfortable; along with Seasons Hospice.
She requested no funeral services. Burial will be private at gravesite in Ridgewood, NJ.
