Obituary for Edward M Baltadonis

Edward M. Baltadonis 80, Former Tavern owner in Mount Royal passed away on August 22, 2020 at his residence in Frederica, DE. Born May 11, 1940 in Woodbury, NJ to the late Joseph P. and Lena Donella Baltadonis. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1963 until 1965 where his last assignment was in Tilghman Island, Avalon, Maryland. In 1965 he resided in Mount Royal, NY and opened up the Royal Inn Tavern with his brother Joseph Baltadonis. They owned and operated the tavern until retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Mt. Royal Fire Company and enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach with his dogs. He also liked visiting his daughter at her work every Saturday at Schileen’s Pub and trips to the casinos.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sons Edward and Joseph Baltadonis.
He survived by the love of his life for 55 years Rita Gowe Baltadonis of Frederica, DE. and
his daughter Katherine Baltadonis Costello and a sister Chris Schoener.
