Obituary for Harriet B Rose (Stager)

Harriet Stager Rose passed away peacefully at home on January 24th 2019.
Born January 10th 1925 in North Bergen New Jersey, daughter of Edward and Harriett Hollenbeck Stager. Harriet was a seamstress by trade last working for Exposition Service and Rentals doing trade shows all across the east coast until she retired in 1995.
A World War II veteran, Harriet served in the WAC Corps in Oklahoma and Kansas completing several training courses until she married in 1945.
A recent resident of Luther Towers, Harriet remained active in supporting many military organizations including Wounded Warriors as well as the local Woman's Shelter. Harriet loved to sew and would often do custom tailoring for friends and family.
Pre deceased by her parents and several Brothers and Sisters, Harriet is survived by one brother, George Stager of Moonachie New Jersey, Daughters Joy Rose Bohn of Dover DE and Diane Rose of California as well as two Sons, Fred Rose of Powell Tennessee and Wayne Rose of Brooklyn, New York. Harriet is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
