Mary Jane Ralston, 88 of Dover, DE died February 22, 2018. Born in Wheeling, West Va. to John F. and Marcella (Yahn) Weiss. She received a college degree in education. Mrs. Ralston had taught Elementary Education for the Capital School District and had retired in 2000. She had been active throughout her life and enjoyed playing golf with all of her golfing ladies. She was an avid gardener and a volunteer for Caring Hearts Helping Hands. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Bruce D. Ralston, who died in 2012. Mary Jane leaves her loving daughter, Karin R. Slacum along with her two grandchildren, Stephen Y. Bartlett, Jr. (Alyssa Epley) and Logan D. Slacum. 2 great grandchildren, Quinn Epley and Brycen D. Bartlett, and her sister-in-law, Maryrita Weiss along with several nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be private.
