Brenda Lea Williams, 53, of Smyrna, DE., died February 17, 2017. Born in Batavia, New York, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth Bliler. She was a 1981 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and later graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College. Upon receiving her license in Practical Nursing Brenda had served at Bay Health Medical since 1986. She had been a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading, crafting and sightseeing. Brenda will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She leaves her two children, Garrett M. Williams and Rebecca A. Williams both of Smyrna, DE, along with her three step children, Niya Bolden of Newark, DE, Serenity Draine and Nevaeh Draine both of Smyrna, DE and her grandson, Jalen Evans of Newark, DE. Brenda also leaves her sister, Cathy and husband Robert McMullen of Hockessin, DE, Jeffrey and wife Patricia Bliler of Frederica, DE and Gregory Bliler of MO. Friends may call Thursday, February 23. 2017 starting at 11 am at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE where Services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover.
