Mary G. Priester ,85 , of Dover , Delaware , died Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 at her residence. She was one of thirteen children born to the late James Yanero and Laura Glover Yanero of Monongah, W. VA. She had moved from Fairmont, W. Va. to Dover, DE in 1969 and for the next 40 years worked as a Food and Beverage Server at the Blue Coat Inn in Dover. She had been an active member of the Restaurateurs Union where she was a Past President. Mary enjoyed her work at the Blue Coat Inn and will be remembered as a friend to those who dined there throughout the years. She had been a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by those whose life she touched. In her quiet moments she enjoyed gardening along with caring for her pets throughout the years.
Mary leaves her four children, Stephen Priester of Fairmont, W. Va.; Sharron and her husband Ronald Pearson, of Jacksonville Beach Fl; Debra Thomas of Dover, DE; and Terry Priester of Akron, OH; Her brother Richard Yanero of Dover, DE, and sister Dorothy Evans of Monogah, W. VA; Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 21st, 2016 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso,1175 S. State St. Dover, Delaware 19901, where Services will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, DE. Condolences may be forwarded via www.ambruso.com
