Florence M. Ondish age 84, of Dover, DE died November 9, 2016. Born in Kingston, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angela (Morowski) Biezup. She graduated from Kingston High School and attended Wilkes-Barre Business College. She had moved to Dover, DE with her husband, Andrew Ondish in November of 1952 where she became a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. She had also been a member of the Junior Board of Kent General Hospital for many years. She had been a floral arranger and enjoyed designing arrangements for floral shows and shops throughout the area. Mrs. Ondish was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the company of her family and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Andrew who died in 2011. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Frank, and John Biezup, her sister Helen McGuire and her sons, Jeffery and David Ondish. Mrs. Ondish leaves her son Andrew and wife Patricia Ondish, of Elkton, MD, daughters Debra and husband, James Semple, of Felton, DE, Cheryl and husband Larry Cherney, of Lewes, DE, Marilyn and husband, Bryan Malaer, of Lockhart, TX, and Patricia Trivets of Bear, DE. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Vanessa, Andrew Jr., Jeffrey, Jessica, Sean, David Jr., Michael, Lauren, Brianna, Kirstyn and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Marion Sherman of Tarpin Springs, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 starting at 10:30 am at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St. Dover. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
