Susan E Conlogue, 59, of Dover, died Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover . Born in Lake Charles, LA, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Helen (Thompson) Utley. Susan had been a Billing Specialist for Bayhealth Medical Center and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Dover. She joined the B.P.O. of Elks in 2000, and progressed through the chairs of office, holding numerous positions in the local Lodge as well as the State Associations. She was the Exalted Ruler of Dover Lodge #1903 from 2005 until 2006, and had been the current Treasurer since 2012. Susan was also the Vice President of the Maryland, Delaware and D.C State Association from 2008 until 2009, and was District Deputy and Grand Exalted Ruler from 2010 until 2011. In her quieter moments, Susan cherished the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Conlogue.
She is survived by 4 children, Douglas Walker, Megan Moorhead and husband Donald, David Walker and partner Danielle Scott, and stepson, James Conlogue; 4 grandchildren, Jake and Austin Moorhead, Avery Walker, and Jared Scott, and a granddaughter to be born in September; and 5 siblings, Michael H. Utley and partner Nanette Holmes, Nancy Utley West, Gary Utley and wife Patty, Scott Utley and wife Deanna, and Billy Utley and wife Nancy Heiser Marin Utley.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Dover Elks Lodge #1903, 200 Saulsbury Road, Dover. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, DE .
