Obituary for Leonard C Howell

Leonard C  Howell
Leonard C. Howell, 76, of Camden, DE died February 5, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Marie Kemp Howell. Mr. Howell was a Vietnam War Veteran who had served with the US Air Force as a Master Sgt. retiring in 1982.


Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Carmean Howell who died in 1989 along with his brother Warren and sister Grace. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Tuthill Howell of Camden, DE, along with his son, Charles Howell and wife Mary of Felton, DE. Also survived by his step children, David Russell and wife Lisa of Magnolia, DE, Philip Russell and wife Angie of Felton, DE, Crystal Russell of Felton, DE. Also leaves 3 grandchildren, James E. Howell, Charles G. Howell, Timothy Howell all of Felton, DE and 5 step grandchildren, Elani Russell of Felton, DE, Kelsey Damon of Magnolia, DE, Tyler Damon of Magnolia, DE, Shyanne Russell of Magnolia, DE and Cole Hollerman of Felton, DE.


Friends may call Wednesday February 10, 2016 from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE. Burial will follow on Saturday, February 13th at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy. Dover, DE 19901.
