Condolence: There are no words to describe the love and closeness I've had all these years for my Uncle Van. I will miss him very much. I'm thankful for all the memories that we've made. You are no longer in pain and I will see you again someday. Love you always.

Condolence From: Chaplain Ray Fritz
Condolence: On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), we offer our sincere condolences to Virginia, Willliam, Francis, and Pat and all of Francis’ family and friends as you grieve his passing. May God whisper peace into your hearts and comfort and heal them. We are grateful for Francis’ service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service during WWII, serving on three submarines; the USS S-12 SS-117, USS R-7 SS-84, and a Plankowner on the USS Cabezon SS-334. To our “Brother of the Phin” we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country." -- Rev. Ray Fritz, National Chaplain United States Submarine Veterans, USSVI.
