Romayne B. Nemeth, age 98, of Camden-Wyoming, DE, died on January 8, 2015. Born in Forest City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Watts Brasso and Rose Wargo Brasso.
Mrs. Nemeth had spent her adult life as an accomplished Artist having received numerous awards for her work. Many of her abstract paintings and florals are on display in public and private collections ncluding the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. She was a lovely and spirited lady who had a zest for life. Her subtle humor will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Lee Beaver, her first husband, Alfred Beaver, and her second husband, Stephen A. Nemeth, Sr. She is also predeceased by her brother, Bernard Brasso.
Romayne leaves her daughter, Barbara A. Wich and her husband John J.F. Wich of Wyoming, DE, along with two stepchildren, Stephen A. Nemeth, Jr. of Quinton, VA and Alice B. Coco of Little River, SC, and one nephew William Brasso of Columbia, MD and his children Benjamin and Rebecka.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday evening, January 14, 2015 at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901. A schedule for Services and Burial in Arlington National Cemetery has not been confirmed. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
