Adrienne J. Lombard, 75, of Camden, DE died July 19, 2013 at the Milford Nursing Center In Milford, DE. Born in Phila., PA she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Miriam (Shetter) Wire. Mrs. Lombard was a 1959 graduate of Arcadia University and had been an Artist throughout her life. Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and was a Lady of Command in the Order Of The Holy Sepulchre Of Jeruselum, Military Section of the Mid Atlantic Lieutenancy, Wash. D.C. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who in her quiet time enjoyed poetry and religious art. A kind and gentle woman, Mrs. Lombard will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Daniel H. Wire. Mrs. Lombard leaves her husband, Louis F. Lombard of Camden, DE along with her children; Louis F. Lombard, II and spouse Melissa of Centerville, VA and Kathleen A. Birk and husband Frederick of York, PA. She is also survived by her sisters, Deborah Pressler and Christine Martin both of CA. along with five grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the Dover Air Force Base Chapel #2, Dover, DE. Interment will be in Mount Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Emmitsburg, MD.
