Mildred Kohler Kemp, age 97 of Dover, DE, died December 22, 2011 at the Silver Lake Center in Dover. Born in Nazareth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alma Marsh Houser.
Mrs. Kemp had been an active member of Holy Cross Parish where she was a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality and a participant in the annual Church Bazaar where her embroidery and sewing skills were on display. She enjoyed cooking and travel but her greatest love was reserved for her family and circle of friends.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ernest Kohler, and her second husband, W. Howard Kemp, and her daughter, Kathleen Lambert.
Mildred leaves her loving daughter, Dolores East of Camden, De along with seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, Dec. 30th at 11 A.M. at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, where friends may call starting at 10 A.M.
