Obituary for James F. Asmus

James F. Asmus of Lincoln, Delaware died January 9, 2011 at the age of 85. Born in Wood County, Ohio he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie V. Brown Asmus. Mr. Asmus was a Veteran of WWII where he had served in the US Army Air Corps. For the greater part of his life he had worked as an Aeronautical Engineer with the Boeing Corp. of Ohio and retired in 1990. He had resided in Granville, Ohio until moving to Lincoln in 2010. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan F. Asmus, and is survived by his daughters, Karen Asmus Gritton of Lincoln, DE and Barbara Lee Adams of Knoxville, TN. Mr. Asmus is also survived by his brother, Rodger Asmus of Granville, OH and his sister Lila Wenig of Bowling Green, OH along with 10 Grandchildren. Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Condolences and Guest Book Signings may be made via www.ambruso.com
