Maria De Los Angeles Martinez-Kerley age 55, affectionately known as “Angeles”, was peacefully called home on January 19, 2019 at Penn Medicine Hospital from heart surgery complications. Maria was born on June 22, 1963 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to mother, Maria S. Rodriguez and father, Angel Martinez. She was raised in Brooklyn, NY where she attended Abraham Lincoln High School, she then moved to Dover, Delaware at the age of 24 where she remained and worked at Boscov’s located in Dover Mall. Maria was a woman of God and member of Maranatha Life Changing Church. She is survived by her sister, Maria E. Soto, nieces, Nina & Samantha Soto, her precious dog Puffy, church members and friends who became family. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Friday January 25th at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, De 19901 where a visitation will be offered 4pm to 8pm Thursday Jan. 24th and 10am to 12PM on Friday Jan. 25th. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, De.
