Obituary for Marianna Veronica Banschbach (Banschbach)

Marianna Veronica Banschbach (Banschbach)
Marianna Veronica Banschbach, 91, died at Westminster Nursing Home in Dover, DE
on March 7, 2018, in the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ, her Savior. She was born to the late Louis Carl and Kathryn (nee Schilling) Banschbach and was raised on a farm in Harrison, Ohio where she enjoyed playing with her many cousins in Harrison and nearby Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She had graduated from Harrison High School where she was a drum majorette and upon her
graduation she joined Trans World Air Lines where she had served in In Flight Operations for
over 30 years. Following retirement many beloved school children and parents felt safe under her watch as a Crossing Guard in her Las Vegas community. She later moved from Las Vegas to Delaware so as to be closer to her extended family where she enjoyed many special times. Marianna enjoyed writing letters and never missed the opportunity to celebrate a special day with a card or letter to friends and family. A kind and gentle woman, Marianna’s sense of humor will be greatly missed by her friends and staff at the Westminster facility.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Louis Banschbach, on October 7, 2009. She is survived by her sister-in-law, S. Joyce Blankenbeckler Banschbach along with her nephews Gregory L., Mark R., Christopher E., and great nephew, Matthew Banschbach. Also survived by three nieces, Lauren, Alexis, and Jessica. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered April 5, 2018, 1PM at St. John The Baptist Church of Harrison, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greendale Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, IN. Local Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover, DE. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
