Obituary for Emma Bott (Dellandria)

Emma Bott, age 87, formerly of Dover, DE, died February 14,2018 in Phila., Pa.
Born in Bayone, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Costantino and Silvia Lazzeri Dellandrea.
Emma had moved from Bayonne, NJ with her family in 1964 and became active in the Dover Community. She had been an active participant at Holy Cross Church and school where she had served on several committees throughout the years. She was also very active and involved with her children and the sport of swimming with both the YMCA Dover Daulphins and the Kent Swim Club. She was a familiar face at Kent General Hospital where she served as a volunteer. She had been a member of the Dover Modern Maturity Center and was a participant in the Meals on Wheels program. She had also been a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed Marjan and playing Bridge. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who still found time to pursue a career in Real Estate. Emma will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Victor A. Bott in 1998. Emma leaves her loving children; JoAnne Basom of Harrisburg, PA, Connie Sullivan of Clifton, VA, Frances Jones of Phila., PA and Joseph Bott of Mechanicsburg, PA. Also survived by her sister Mary Kennelly of Bayone, NJ and nine grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday starting at 9:30 am at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE.
