Robert Craig Wood, Sr., age 75, of Magnolia, DE. died October 19, 2017. Born in Nescopeck, PA he was the son of the late Robert and Frankie Miller Wood. He had served in the National Guard and had worked as a Data Technician with the DuPont Co. retiring in 1995. He then worked for MBNA and later with the Bank of America. He was a Past Master of the Ionic Masonic Lodge # 31 of New Castle, DE.
Mr. Wood enjoyed the outdoors where he spent time Camping, Hunting, Fishing and Boating. He was
a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed the times spent with his family and friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Richard Wood. He leaves his wife Winifred H. (Arner) Wood of Magnolia, DE along with his two children, Michelle L. and her husband Edward Augustine, Jr. of Landenberg, PA and Robert C. Wood, Jr. and his wife Candie of Magnolia, DE.
Also survived by his sister Nancy Shadle of Ayden, NC and five grandchildren, Zachary and William Augustine of Landenberg, PA and Brett, Tristan and Braden Wood of Magnolia, DE. Services will be held
on Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 11:30 am at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso 1175 S. State St. Dover where friends may call starting at 10 am. Interment will be private.
