Obituary for Amber Hallett

Amber Hallet passed thru this life on November 19, 2016. Born on June 29th in a year that was her best kept secret. She Graduated from Dover High School and went on to operate her mother’s business “The Gallery of Art” in Dover. When she was 24 she followed her family to Florida where she was a successful business owner of AH Gallery, a holistic coop; and managed rental properties. Amber took to any task with passion and determination with the word “No” never entering her vocabulary. As a child she enjoyed fishing trips with her late father, Pete Hallett; and cooking with her mother, Judy Hallett. She loved to listen to their stories and developed a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor and adventure. Amber had one sister, Holly Pinnell, whom she would torture but secretly adore at the same time. Amber was a single mother to Shannon Figueroa where she quickly learned to be resourceful and taught her values of strength, integrity and appreciation for all things in life. To love yourself now and live in the moment. To protect your name and create your journey now as tomorrow may never come. Her later years were spent between Delaware and Florida where she wanted to spend her time with her grandchildren and friends. She loved to travel, read, Betty Boop; and all things associated with the Native American heritage and culture. She was fortunate to have traveled the United States and strongly believed in reincarnation and with that we are certain she is hanging out right now with her tribe. Amber will be remembered for her deep and unwavering devotion and loyalty for her friends. Amber’s last quote, “You can accomplish anything you set your mind to”, no limitations. Graveside Services will take place on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2 pm in Lakeside Cemetery, North State St., Dover, DE. Condolences may be forwarded to Shannon Figueroa, 250 Wildflower Circle, Magnolia, DE 19962. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover, DE.
