Obituary for Anna M. Yarnell

Anna M. Yarnell, 87, of Dover died February 26, 2013 at her residence. Anna was born on July 29, 1925 in Clarence, PA and was one of seven children born to Andrew and Anna Stasik Balash. She eventually worked with Housekeeping at the Lock Haven State University where she retired in 1987. She and her husband, the late Marlin J. Yarnell, moved to Dover in 1991 so as to be closer to some of her family. She was an active member of Holy Cross Church in Dover and had enjoyed the time spent with her family and close circle of friends. She was especially fond of playing Bingo and was always up to visiting the Slots at Dover Downs. She was a kind and considerate lady who will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, David Larimer, along with her sister and five brothers. Anna leaves her son, Richard F. (Rick) Larimer and wife, Mary Ellen, of Dover, DE along with her daughter, Christine Cox and husband, David of Johnstown, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St. Dover where friends may call starting at 10 AM. Interment will be private in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE. In lieu of flowers family suggests donation in Anna's memory to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Rd.
