Henry J. (Hank) Zimmerman, age 87 of Magnolia, DE died September 28, 2011 at his residence. Born in East Setauket, Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Christian and Louise Zimmerman. At an early age he and his family moved to the Dover area where they engaged in farming activities. He was a longtime faithful member of Holy Cross Church in Dover where he involved himself in the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. Hank held several positions throughout the years with the K of C Council 4182 and was the catalyst in the Knight's purchase of their Council Home.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed cooking, farming and eventually cats. Hank was truly a person who made a difference in this world, and his contagious smile will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jon H. Zimmerman who died in 2001, his sister and two brothers. He leaves his loving wife, Dorothy M.
