Obituary for Christopher S. Volk

Christopher S. Volk, age 51, of Dover, passed away April 4, 2011 at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover. He was born August 17, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles and Sumiko Hori Volk. Christopher had been the former manager at Shuckers Pier 13 in Dover until illness forced his retirement in 2007. He was a former member of the Elks Club and was fond of Golf and fishing. In his quieter moments he enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Christopher is survived by his loving daughter, Taylor Volk, of Greenville, NC; one brother, Kenneth Volk, of West Berlin, NJ; and his close friends and caregivers, Joe and Charlotte Arsenault, of Dover.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday April 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Capitol Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover. Life’s End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Condolences may be sent and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com
