Viola C. VanPelt age 85, of Smyrna, DE died March 14, 2015. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late George and Viola Graf Kuckler.
Mrs. Van Pelt had worked for the Johnson and Johnson Co. of East Windsor, NJ prior to moving to Delaware in 1986. She was a member of the Dover Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Kent County Republican Women’s Assoc., and a Hospice Volunteer. Mrs. Van Pelt enjoyed Bingo, Dominos, and cherished the time spent playing Cards with the neighborhood Card Club.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Van Pelt and her daughter, Susan Trammel.
She leaves her children; James McNulty, Patricia and Gary Doan, Cindy Lamy, Edward and Kris McNulty, Deborah Conover, Dennis McNulty, Sharon and Woodrow Darling, Belinda Pazdan, Thomas and Stacy McNulty, Michelle and Steven Barone. Also survived by her step children; Clarence and Roe Van Pelt, Patricia Van Pelt, Eileen Van Pelt, James Van Pelt, Kathleen Van Pelt and Michael Van Pelt. Thirty eight Grandchildren, forty seven Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren.
Friends may call starting at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover where Services will be held at 4 P.M. Interment will take place on Thursday in Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Condolences may be made at www.ambruso.com
