Margaret F. Tyler, age 83, passed away April 5, 2013 at Bay Health Medical Center, Dover. Mrs. Tyler was born July 11, 1929 in Erie, West VA. and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rose (Perri) Felix.
She had moved from Chestertown, MD to Dover in 1958 and had served as a Substitute Teacher for Dover High and Caesar Rodney High School for many years. She had been an active member of Holy Cross Parish and had also served with the Holy Cross Library. Mrs. Tyler had also served as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Kent County Unit.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Tyler, who died in 2002. She was also predeceased by 2 sisters, Betty Jo Bennett and Ann Zannino.
Mrs. Tyler leaves her dedicated children, Mark E. Tyler of Wayne, PA and Katherine Tyler-Wall and husband Roland J. of Newark, DE and her sister, Gloria Del Rizzo of Windsor - Ontario, Canada.
Friends may call Monday eve. from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St. Dover. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Bear, DE. Family suggests donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society 92 Reads Way New Castle, DE 19720.
