Teresa Randazzo, age 79, of Dover, DE died May 19, 2014. Born in Palermo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Vincenza Cappellini.
Mrs. Randazzo had been a homemaker for most of her life and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and enjoyed those quieter moments while gardening. She also enjoyed the moments when family and friends would gather and play cards. She was a kind and gentle person who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents Mrs. Randazzo was predeceased by her husband, Gioacchino Randazzo, along with 2 of her brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Randazzo leaves her loving daughter, Gioacchina (Jackie) Randazzo of Dover, DE along with her three sons; Giuseppe and wife Marianna of Hilltop, PA, Salvatore and wife Linda of Sewell, NJ, Pete and wife Angela of Wyoming, DE. Three sisters along with one brother all in Italy. She is also survived by her seven beloved grandchildren along with two great granddaughters.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE where a Visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St. Dover, DE. Entombment will take place in the Mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery located at New & William Streets, Dover, DE.
