Condolence From: Raquel Guyadeen

Condolence: On behalf of the Guyadeen family we are sorry we are not able to be at the service in person. I was so blessed to have know Mr. Nelson. Fortunately, when I was five years old, the Nelson family moved in next door to me in Espana in 1973. I was thrilled that our new neighbors had kids. Little did I know the kids would become by best friends.I remember having extreme respect for Mr. Nelson. He was always so kind to me.He tolerated our little girl and preteen behavior, mainly our constant giggling! I remember paying attention to the way he adored his wife.I remember him kissing Mrs. Nelson in front of us just to get a reaction out of us.Of course we did plenty of giggling! Mr. Nelson mastered the Spanish language. He impressed me and I thought maybe I could do the same! Not only did I learn Spanish, I learned that the Nelson household was a loving place. In large part because of Mr Nelson's ways. He was a wonderful, caring husband and father. He also loved my mother's curry chicken as much as I did! I will always have such fond memories. Those memories take me back to a happy, warm, and loving place with my extended familia.I thank you Mr. Nelson for the memories.I know you are surrounded in comfort, love, and peace in the presence of our Lord.
