James S. Leone of Dover, DE passed away quietly at home on December 7, 2013. His age was 56. Jim was born in Wallingford, CT. and was the son of the late Salvatore J. and Lucretia Leone. He began his High School education at Holy Cross and later transferred to Caesar Rodney High where he graduated and later received a B.S. degree in Business from Delaware State University. At the time of his death he was employed with the Winner Auto Group here in Dover. Jim enjoyed golf and was a big New York Giants fan, but above all else in life he loved his three children and three grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his two daughters, Sydney Corrice and Madison Leone along with his son, Carson Leone all of Dover, DE. Also survived by his three sisters, Diane Sears of Hartly, DE, Jennifer Ganis of Geneva, IL and Lisa Waldron of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Steve Leone of Geneva, Il, Sal Leone and Tom Leone, both of Dover, DE. His three grandchildren; Brynner, Silas and Lyla Corrice all of Dover. Also survived by an uncle and several aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso 1175 S. State St. Dover starting at 11 AM on Friday, December 13, 2013 where Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, DE. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
