Obituary for Carroll T. Elliott, II

Carroll T. (Tom) Elliott, II, age 52, of Seaford, De died August 9, 2011 after being stricken in Iowa City, Iowa. Born on January 4, 1959 in Newport News, VA, he was the son of Carroll T. and Ann Cain Elliott of Seaford. Tom had served in the US Air Force from 1977 until 1983 and returned to the Seaford area where he had worked as a Respiratory Therapist at the Milford Memorial Hospital and later at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE. Carroll was an accomplished guitarist and was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Browns Foot Ball team. He was an avid Disc Golf player and was instrumental in establishing the course at Killen's Pond where he served as Course Pro. In his quieter moments he enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. Carroll will be greatly missed by those whose life he touched.
Besides his mother and father, he is survived by his son, Benjamin C. Elliott of Seaford, De; His brother Harold Fred Elliott and wife Jeanna of Dover, De; two sisters, Deborah E. Davidson and husband George of Richmond, Va, and Mary Jo (Jo-Jo) Milligan and husband Cory of Frankford, De.
Services will take place Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11 AM precisely in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel located in Millsboro, De where interment will follow. Family suggests donations in his memory to Ann C. Elliott 360 Graham Branch Rd. Seaford, De 19973. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Dover. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com
